Badri A. Mohamoud joined the foundation as the Principal of Pharo Secondary School Sheikh on August 12th, 2024.
Badri is an experienced education specialist with a strong academic background, extensive leadership experience, and a commitment to educational excellence. Holding five degrees (two bachelor’s and three master’s) and currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership, along with over fifteen years of professional experience in education, Badri deeply understands the tenets of creating effective schooling systems and, thereby, fostering a supportive learning environment that empowers students to excel academically, emotionally, and socially.
Badri also has a track record in leading and partaking in transformational journeys for schools (both in Somaliland and in the USA) to produce students equipped with the tools to become lifelong learners and productive global citizens.
Badri’s leadership philosophy is a collaborative one, as he believes that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. Badri is a creative, proactive, and solutions-oriented professional that is eager to contribute to the nation’s education systems.
In his free time, Badri spends time with his family and his hobbies are running, hiking, and playing football.
