Belaynesh Gonete Bogale is currently studying at Bahir Dar University in the Amhara Region, having secured a prestigious scholarship from Pharo Foundation, awarded to only ten students. Despite facing significant challenges, including the loss of both parents and growing up in the conflict-ridden and remote Metekel zone, Belaynesh’s determination to pursue her education never wavered and she graduated in 2022. Thanks to the support of Pharo School Homosha girls' boarding school, she was able to continue her studies, a chance that transformed her life and set her on the path to academic success.
